This privacy policy explains how Energy Related Arbitration Practitioners (ENERAP) uses the personal data we collect from you.

ENERAP collects the following data from people that complete the registration form to be selected as founder of a local or national chapter:

  • Personal identification information (nationality, name, email address, etc.)
  • Professional information (position, employer, areas in which you have had experience [electric power, oil & gas, mining], years of experience, languages, etc.)

ENERAP collects the following data from people that complete the registration form to submit a request to become an ENERAP’s member:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, country and city)

ENERAP collects the following data from people that complete the contact registration form:

  • Personal identification information (name and email address)

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide ENERAP the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you voluntarily complete the registration form to be selected as founder of a local or national chapter; when you submit your request to become an ENERAP’s member or when you complete the the contact form to leave us a message.

How will we use your data?

ENERAP collects your data so that we can:

  • Decide whether you are to be selected as founder of a local or national chapter.
  • If selected, include your personal and professional identification information in the list of founders of local or national chapters, published in our Website.
  • Keep an internal record.
  • Send you promotional emails about our activities or other information which we think you may find interesting (when you have consented to become a member of ENERAP).
  • You authorize ENERAP to share with the corresponding National and/or Local Chapter the data collected from the registration form to submit a request to become an ENERAP’s member. Such information shall be used by the National and/or Local Chapter for the promotion of its corresponding activities or other information which it considers you may find interesting.

How do we store your data?

ENERAP will keep your data until we receive a written request to remove the data from our website.

Please note that if you are selected to be a founder of a local or national chapter your data will be published in our Website and, as such, will be accessible by third parties. ENERAP shall not be liable for the use given to your data by third parties.

What are your data protection rights?

ENERAP would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request ENERAP for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that ENERAP correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request ENERAP to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
